Senior Noah Woford been named Noon Optimist Student of the Month for January.
A day student, Woford has attended Darlington for four years. Named an AP Scholar with Distinction by The College Board, he has taken 16 Honors and AP courses. He has also been inducted into National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta and Sociedad Honoraria Nacional de
El Coronel. He has received the Class Citizenship Award and the Presbyterian College Fellows Award.
Woford plays soccer and basketball. In addition, he serves as a head day mentor in the dorm, a member of the servant leadership team, and an Admission Tiger Expert. During his summers, he has worked in Darlington's I.T. Office.
Outside of school, Woford has participated in the Berry College Mentor Program and also owns an iPhone repair company.
The son of Laura and Jeff Woford, Noah will be honored at an Optimist Club luncheon Jan. 23.
