The Purple Tie Committee of Darlington School is pleased to announce that “Tigers & ’Tails” will be held on Saturday, Aug. 13, 2016, at 6:30 p.m. in the Johnson-Drummond Amphitheater behind Thatcher Hall. In case of rain, the event will be held in the Johnson Field House.
“Tigers & ’Tails” will feature refreshing themed cocktails, a savory meal, some dancing, auctions and raffle prizes, all to benefit Darlington’s parent council organizations: Upper and ELA-8 Tiger PRIDE, the Fine Arts Booster Club and the Athletic Booster Club. Patrons are invited to enjoy a casual evening al fresco on the Darlington campus in summer cocktail attire—and purple is a plus!
Admission to the event is $75 per person, and includes dinner and an open bar. A patron table level is also offered for $1,000, and includes seating for eight attendees, a centerpiece and one reverse raffle ticket. Click here to purchase tickets and tables.
The grand prize for this year's reverse raffle is $10,000 cash or tuition credit for your oldest child up to $18,000 (to be used in one school year). Second prize is $2,000 cash. Each raffle ticket is $100, and is available for purchase from Booster Club delegates, the Admission Office, the front desk at Thatcher Hall, and also online. Only 350 raffle tickets will be sold.
