Senior Jade Cox has been named Noon Optimist Student of the Month for November.
Cox is a day student who has attended Darlington since pre-k. During her time here, she has taken 17 Honors and AP courses; served on the House Senate for three years; and joined the Spanish National Honor Society. A four-year member of the varsity lacrosse team, she was named Best Offensive Player in 2015. She also runs cross country.
As a sophomore, Cox earned the Class Citizenship Award. In addition, she was a Darlington ambassador for the HOBY leadership conference held at Berry College in 2014.
The daughter of Sunny and John Cox of Rome, Jade was honored at an Optimist Club luncheon on Nov. 9.
