Senior Bob Ledbetter has been named Noon Optimist Student of the Month for October.
A day student, Ledbetter has attended Darlington since pre-k. He is vice president of the Discipline Committee and also serves as an Admission Tiger Expert. As a junior, Ledbetter earned the Class Citizenship Award. He is a captain of the varsity football team and has worked as an instructor at football camp. He also runs track.
Outside of school, Ledbetter attended Culver Military Camp for three summers, graduating from the program with high honors. While there, he earned multiple ranks and held various leadership positions, including Battalion Commander. He also interned at Spriggs Construction Co. for two summers.
The son of Patti and Bob Ledbetter Jr. ('84) of Rome, Bob will be honored at an Optimist Club luncheon on Oct. 12.
