Burton Dulaney (’15) of Rome batted .378 on the season with 20 singles, eight doubles, two triples and a team-high seven home runs. The alum also batted in 40 runs on the year. On the mound, Dulaney boasted a 6-2 record in 47 1-3 innings of work, where he also had an ERA of 2.662. He retired 49 batters and allowed only 18 runs on 52 hits.
Rising senior Drake Frix consistently protected home and rarely gave up passed balls or wild pitches as catcher. He also provided solid hitting for the Tigers with a .392 batting average. Frix accrued 40 hits, 10 doubles, one triple and 22 RBIs. He is the son of Rhonda and Chris Frix of Plainville, Ga.
Tripp Flournoy (‘15) of Cartersville, Ga. batted .303 and finished the season with 26 singles, six doubles, one triple and 16 RBIs. Flournoy also played well at third base, snagging grounders and quickly flipping the ball to first or second base.
John Goldin (‘15) of Rome and Seth Little (‘15) of Rockmart, Ga. were named to the All-Area second team.
