Several players from Darlington's football program have been named to all-area teams, in addition to winning other area-wide accolades.
FIRST TEAM- OFFENSE
Trey Edge, running back, was named offensive co-player of the year. He is a senior and the son of Carrie and Phillip Edge of Rome.
Patrick Kearns, offensive lineman, is a junior and the son of Jennifer and David Kearns of Adairsville, Ga.
SECOND TEAM- OFFENSE
Jake Walker, tight end, is a junior and the son of Lynn and Ed Walker of Cartersville, Ga.
Winston Gammon, offensive lineman, is a junior and the son of Alicia Gammon of Rome and Wright Gammon of Cedartown, Ga.
Jake Maxwell, split end, is a junior and the son of Kim and Mark Maxwell of Silver Creek, Ga.

Brooks Busby, linebacker, was named defensive co-player of the year. He is a senior and is the son of Shari and Mark Busby of Rome.
Robert Muschamp, linebacker, is a senior and the son of Sally and Pat Muschamp of Cave Spring, Ga.
Landon Lawrence, linebacker, is a junior and the son of Philline and Mike Lawrence of Temple, Ga.
SECOND TEAM- DEFENSE
Tripp Flournoy, secondary, is a senior and the son of Lisa and Rich Flournoy of Cartersville, Ga.
Burt Michael Tidwell, defensive lineman, is a sophomore and the son of Jan and Lee Tidwell of Cartersville, Ga.
