Alumni Council welcomes new members

Darlington’s Alumni Council has welcomed five new members for the 2013-16 term. 

Helen Davis (’02, LD ’12) of Atlanta is principal with H&H Home, an interior design firm. A graduate of Leadership Darlington, she is an Annual Fund volunteer and has hosted several Atlanta young alumni events. She also served on the Ad-Hoc Marketing Committee of the Board of Trustees. She is the daughter of Laura (Harbin) Davis (’70T) and Ken Davis (’69) and the sister of Drew Davis (’04). 

Bedell James (’87) of Nashville, Tenn., is director of development at The Ensworth School. A loyal Annual Fund supporter, he is the brother of Ingram (James) Lynch (’84) and Ransom James (’92). He and his wife, Anne, have two sons, Ed and Foster, and a daughter, Tanner.
 
Parrish Owens (’04, LD ’13) of Rome is associate marketing manager at Southeastern Mills. A graduate of Leadership Darlington, he is an Annual Fund supporter and has hosted several young alumni events. He is the grandson of Life Trustees Gaynelle and Vernon Grizzard, the son of Linda (Grizzard) Owens (’79), and the brother of Mary Owens (’06).

Win Stewart (’97, LD ’12) of Atlanta is a partner at Walnut Creek Investments. A graduate of Leadership Darlington, he is also a member of the J. J. Darlington Society. He and his wife, Morgan, have two children, Wes and Hattie. A former resident student, he is the son of Brother Stewart (’68) and brother of Carolyn (Stewart) Morgan (’98). 

Will Thuston (’00, LD ’12) of Birmingham, Ala., is an attorney at Christian and Small LLP. A graduate of Leadership Darlington, he is an Annual Fund supporter and has hosted several alumni gatherings. He and his wife, Ginger, have one son, William Lee Thuston III. He is also the son of W. Lee Thuston (’67).
