The event was previously geared around candy and treats to note the occasion, but after a lesson in water filtration to improve health in rural Guatemala, the tradition was altered to focus on helping others through 100 acts of service under the theme of “Service Beyond Self.”

Pre-K students gathered 100 items for a local homeless shelter. Kindergartners focused on the Boys & Girls Club and collected 100 pencils, and first-graders collected 100 canned goods for food pantries. Second-grade students helped the Open Door Home by donating 100 bars of soap, while third-graders gave 100 boxes of Kleenex for McHenry Primary School. Fourth-graders wrote 100 thank you notes to Annual Fund donors.
