Faculty Families Celebrate Halloween

Wednesday, November 1, 2017 | By Jess Peer | 1394 views

One of the great campus traditions each year is to celebrate Halloween as a faculty. Families gather for a special dinner on campus, followed by games and contests. Some events include the donut eating race which has competitors eating donuts as quickly as possible as it is suspended from a string. Other games include pumpkin toss, cup stacking as well as guessing the candy corn.

This year, the festivities took place in the Cove, complete with decorations and festive music. After families enjoyed taking part in some games, they enjoyed a delicious "spooky" meal for dinner. Following dinner, families and Upper School boarding students roasted marshmallows and made s'mores over the fire. Finally, the celebrating came to an end with trick-or-treating all over campus, from the Home-on-the-Hill all the way to Faculty Circle. It was another great year for all faculty and their families!
