Fourth-graders read the book "Stranded" by Jeff Probst this summer and celebrated by becoming "stranded" in the woods.
Using only the materials that that they had on hand, students had to build a shelter and eat, all while avoiding a "hurricane" and other natural disasters. Additionally, they got to enjoy eating crickets and worms if they dared!!
