In 2015-16, Darlington celebrated the 100th anniversary of the student-created, student-led Honor Code and Honor Council. The school has since inaugurated the Honor Speaker Series to bring speakers to engage with students, faculty and staff; individuals who have demonstrated “Honor Above Everything” in both their personal and professional lives.
Today, TV analyst and commentator Julie Foudy, one of the most accomplished female soccer players in the world and former captain of the U.S. Women’s National Team, addressed Upper School students and faculty. Her talk, “Choose to Matter,” bears the same title as her forthcoming book, which will be published by Disney and espnW in May.
