After two months of researching a historical person in social studies, third-graders present a Wax Museum exhibit where they dressed up and posed as a wax statue of their assigned person. Students in PK-4, parents and special guests enjoyed visiting the exhibit and learning about all the historic people third grade has studied throughout the year.
As part of this cross-curricular project, students also wrote a book report with a works cited page, painted a portrait of the person in art, and put together a Keynote presentation with the help of the fourth-graders and their iPads.
The reports, portraits and presentations were also on display during the Wax Museum exhibit.
