It was a beautiful day for the annual third grade trip to B.J. Reece Orchards in Ellijay, Ga. We saw where the apples are sorted, processed, and stored. We even walked into the huge refrigerator that is kept at 38 degrees. Our guide, Mrs. Tonya, told us about how apple trees grow and how honey bees are needed for pollination. We also visited the petting farm at the apple orchard. It was so much fun to feed and play with the baby animals.
