The first day of autumn is the perfect day for pumpkin-themed exploratory activities for third- through fifth-graders. During one of the rotations students participated in a reader's theatre titled "The Pumpkin Patch" by Lisa Frase. Each group did a dramatic presentation of the script. This activity offered a fun, fall-themed way to practice oral reading.
