Third-graders continued experiencing our local community with a full day of activities in Rome. Our day began with a peek at Berry College's Old Mill, Frost Chapel and the Ford buildings. We then spent time with Mr. Scott Preston (Jackson's dad) at Citizens First Bank touring and learning about our personal needs and wants. We even walked inside the actual bank vault! We stopped for lunch at Fuddruckers and then made a quick stop at Ridge Ferry Park's treehouse. Next, we met with Mr. David Ledbetter (Henry's dad) at his office at R.H. Ledbetter Properties. We learned the three most important things about real estate: location, location, location. Lastly, Mr. Ledbetter escorted us to Kroger for a tour by store manager, Mr. Van Meter.
