The tradition of the spring Community Project continues in third grade. One feature of this cross-curricular unit is a tour of historic downtown Rome led by Mrs. Anne Culpepper. Mrs. Culpepper has been touring and teaching Darlington's third-graders about Rome since 1996.
Our day began at Myrtle Hill Cemetery and concluded with a trek to the top of Rome's Clocktower, with a stop at El Zarape on Broad Street for lunch. We had a full day "roaming around Rome"!
