The Smith Smarties pre-K students created apple trees in the MakerSpace to use for a short stop animation. They then used red play dough (they made themselves) to create apples. The students had fun putting 10 apples on top and watching them fall down. (This was based on the book they read "Ten Apples On Top" by Dr. Seuss.)
Students then used Disney Storymation on the iPod to take picture after picture of their tree. They then put these together in a short film! They were able to pick the color scheme, title screen, music, and weather for their film. They even typed their very own name in the title screen! These are some SMARTIES!
