Students in the middle school media arts class took portraits of each other using Nikon DSLR cameras during class. They then went home and took landscape photos using whatever photography device they had available (because the best camera is the one you have with you!)
They uploaded both photos to their computer and imported them into Adobe Photoshop, where they adjusted the curves to balance out their photos. Afterwards, they flattened their layers so that they could use the lasso tool to cut out the image of themselves.
Once they the cutout was ready, they pasted it onto the landscape photo and adjusted the transparency of the photo to give a double-exposure effect.
