Going Once, Going Twice...SOLD at the 3rd Grade Land Auction!

The land auction is an exciting experience for third-grade students, and for the teachers and parents as well! As an important part of our annual Community Project, the land auction event provides the opportunity for partnerships to "purchase" plots of land in the Rome area.
After securing winning bids, each partnership wrote "checks" payable to auctioneer Lou Dempsey ('87) for their properties. The partners will construct the buildings to make up the model community. We are very appreciative of Mr. Dempsey, who continues to support us with making this a memorable event for our third-graders.
