After completing our first class chapter book, "Be a Perfect Person in Just Three Days" by Stephen Manes, our third-grade students wore "broccoli" tied around there necks all day just as main character, Milo Crinkley, did in the story. Students did this to demonstrate that they are fearless! From this story, they learned that nobody's perfect but they can have courage and will power!
