For the second consecutive year, the DarBots earned the opportunity to represent Darlington at a national robotics event. After winning the Georgia State Championship in February, they advanced to San Antonio for the FTC Southern Super Regional Tournament.
The DarBots competed against the best teams in 12 southern states, finishing the three-day event in the division finals. There are two divisions at the tournament, each with 36 teams. In a tight tie-breaker match, the DarBots lost to the eventual tournament champions.
The DarBots will finish up the 2014-15 season working on various Maker projects and developing a learning management system for next year’s teams.
