Chad Liddle

Chad Liddle founded Darlington School Soccer Academy in 2004 and serves as director of the program. A member of the U.S. Soccer National Instructor Staff, he also serves as a coach for NSCAA and Region III ODP as well as an Id2 national scout for U.S. Club Soccer. Chad has traveled the world through the game of soccer, serving as an instructor for the International Sports Coalition in Africa and working with U.S. National Team program, the Bahamian Federation, Bermuda National Team program and Guyana Football Federation. In 2009, he negotiated partnerships with several EPL and Brazilian Clubs. Chad holds a USFF “A” license, an NSCAA Premier license and is a member of many other professional soccer organizations. As a player, he was the Georgia State Player of the Year, Atlanta Journal Constitution State and Gwinnett County Player of the Year, one of only 20 U.S. recipients of the Ford-Pele Scholarship, and a goalkeeper for NCAA Division I Winthrop University, Big South Conference. Chad holds a B.S. from Berry College and a M.S.M. from the University of Georgia. He and his wife, Darcy, ELA-8 P.E. teacher, have two sons, Alex (’20) and Landon (’22).

Steph Bradshaw has served as middle school science teacher and assistant women's coach for Darlington School Soccer Academy since 2014. She holds a B.S. in Exercise Science from the University of North Alabama, where she played collegiate soccer for four years. She also has an M.Ed. in Health and Physical Education from Valdosta State University, where she served most recently as a graduate assistant women's soccer coach. In addition, Stephanie has her USSF National “B” Coaching License. A member of the National Association of Collegiate Women Athletics Administrators, she is American Red Cross certified in CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers and has an Active IQ Level 2 Fitness Instructor Certificate.

Kurt has taught math at the Upper School since 2016 and serves as head boys' soccer coach. He also works with Darlington School Soccer Academy. Kurt holds a B.S. in Anthropology and History from Carnegie Mellon University and numerous coaching certifications. He taught and created a variety of different math courses at Holland Hall School in Tulsa, Okla., for 17 years before moving into a role as director of coaching education and player development for the Oklahoma Soccer Association.

Kevin Ray

Kevin Ray has been on staff at Darlington School Soccer Academy since 2012 and currently serves as director of operations and head men's coach. Before Darlington, he was assistant men’s soccer coach at Auburn University - Montgomery. Previously, Kevin coached at Huntingdon College, an NCAA Division III school, where he led the team to seven consecutive Great South Athletic Conference Tournament appearances. He has also served as an assistant coach for the Panama City Pirates of the Premier Development League, a senior staff coach for the Eclipse Soccer Club, assistant director of coaching for the New Territory Fusion Soccer Club, and assistant coach for Troy University’s NCAA Division I Women’s Program. Kevin was involved in the Alabama Youth Soccer Association for 11 years as a head coach for the ODP and staff instructor. He is also an associate staff coach for NSCAA. He holds the NSCAA Premier Diploma, USSF “B” license, USSF National Youth license, NSCAA National Goalkeeping Diploma and the NSCAA Director of Coaching Diploma. A native of England, Kevin came to the United States in 1997 to attend college. He holds a B.S. in Kinesiology from the University of Montevallo, where he was a four-year starter and captained the team to the Gulf South Conference Tournament Championship in 1999. Prior to coming to the United States, Kevin played professionally for Fulham Football Club and Queens Park Rangers Football Club from 1992 until 1997. He and his wife, Tinsley, have two daughters, Addie (’20) and Jensen.
