Our Thornwood campus has a legacy that includes occupation by Union soldiers, the ghost of a young woman, a private girls high school and an original builder who founded a local college. In the 1970s, the all girls private high school, Thornwood, merged with The Darlington School for Boys. The girls moved to the upper school campus and today lovely old Thornwood is the home of our youngest students, the pre-k thru 5th grade lower school division.
