Darlington School's athletics program has been recognized with the Georgia Athletic Directors Association (GADA) Directors Cup for Region 7AA. The accolade recognizes the top scoring teams in each region based on the accumulation of points given during post-season play, and is presented by Regions Bank and GADA's board of directors.
Seniors Hayden Cook and Emily Swafford have been selected as Darlington’s recipients of the Vincent J. Dooley Award. The accolade is given by Athletes for a Better World in partnership with the Georgia High School Association (GHSA) to a male and female student who best demonstrate character, teamwork and citizenship.
Senior Natalie Collins has been selected as the winner of the 2015 High School Female Scholarship Award Competition, sponsored by the Georgia Athletic Directors Association (GADA), and has won a $1,000 college scholarship.
Senior Hayden Cook emerged triumphant from a near loss last weekend in Macon, taking home the Class AA 182 championship title at Saturday’s Georgia High School Association Traditional State Wrestling Tournament.

The program recognizes seniors who have represented their respective sports well both in performance and in leadership. Two winners will receive a $1,000 scholarship.

Seniors Rachel Simon and Brooks Busby were Darlington's nominees for the NCCAA Game Plan 4 Life Award, which was presented to two area student-athletes at the National Christian College Athletic Association Victory Bowl last month.
Stinchcomb nominated for NIAAA professional development award

The Georgia Athletic Directors Assocation selected Darlington Athletic Director Bob Stinchcomb as its nominee for the NIAAA Frank Kovaleski Professional Development Award. Established in 2007, this award is presented annually to a recipient who most possesses and has contributed to the vision of professional development – the legacy of Frank Kovaleski.
