Background
Kim Tunnell, who has been member of Darlington’s fine arts faculty since 2001, has over two decades of experience in the classroom. She taught music and chorus classes at both the Lower and Middle Schools before being named director of fine arts in 2009. She holds a B.M. and B.M.E. from Shorter College and an M.M.E. from the State University of West Georgia. She and her husband, Mark are the parents of three current students, Jack (’15), Hillary (’18) and Sarah (’22).

Other Experience: 8 years in middle schools in Floyd County and Cartersville, 1 year at a Primary school in Floyd County
