Jennifer Helbing (’98) has been a member of Darlington’s faculty since 2007, serving as a Lower School teacher and Middle School learning specialist. She holds a B.S.Ed. from the University of Georgia and an M.Ed. from Georgia State University, where she focused on students with multiple and severe disabilities. She has 10 years of experience in elementary education.

Head of School Brent Bell announced today that ELA-8 Dean of Students Jennifer (Brewster) Helbing ('98) has been named lower school director at Saint Stephen's Episcopal School in Bradenton, Fla., beginning in 2015-16.

Pajamas service project to raise awareness for needs of foster children

Darlington School’s ELA-8 division recently launched a service initiative aimed at raising awareness for the foster children in the Greater Rome community. The primary focus of the project is to provide an added level of comfort for these children on their first night at a new foster home.
