Previous Background
James has been a part of student life at Darlington since 2001 and currently serves as associate headmaster. His previous roles at the school include head of Cooper House, director of the First-Year Experience program, director of student life and director of admission. He holds a B.B.A. from Shorter College and an M.B.A. from Berry College. James enjoys spending time with his family. He and his wife, Angie, live on campus with their children, Clayburn (’18), Kennan (’20) and James David (’23).

Darlington to move all grades onto one campus, sell Lower School property to Shorter

Darlington School has announced plans to move grades PK-4 to the main campus at the end of the current school year and sell its property on Shorter Avenue to Shorter University. The trustees of both institutions approved the agreement unanimously this afternoon.
