Stefan Eady

Assistant Head of School for Academic Affairs

Stefan has held a variety of different roles in communications, web development and information technology since he began working at Darlington in 1997. In 2016, he was named assistant head of school for academic resources and, in 2021, assistant head of school for academic affairs. He also teaches AP Computer Science and coaches cross country. Stefan holds a B.A. from Berry College and an M.S.I.S. from Kennesaw State University. He and his wife, Carrie, Darlington’s human resources manager, are the parents of Jack (’19) and Callie (’28).

Upper School Learning Specialist

The Teaching and Learning Center at Darlington School seeks an experienced Learning Specialist who is eager to work with students who have diverse learning needs as well take on responsibilities of key features of the Upper School Teaching and Learning Center program such as coordination of testing accommodations and oversight of the the school’s peer tutoring program. This candidate must be adept at enriching curricular approaches and understanding pedagogy as it relates to differentiation and neurodiversity. This candidate must also enjoy the meticulous nature of the position that requires careful tracking and documentation of academic needs, accommodations, interventions, and testing processes in order to communicate with stakeholders, set goals, track growth, and empower students to achieve success at Darlington.

England Thanksgiving Break Student Trip Days 5 and 6

We closed our trip by working our way back to London by way of Bath and Oxford, seeing plenty of sites like the Roman Baths, Bath Abbey, Jane Austen Centre, Oxford University, Radcliffe Camera, Bodleian Library, St. Mary's Church, Ashmolean Museum, Windsor Castle, St. George's Chapel which now holds the grave of Elizabeth II, and the National Gallery.

England Thanksgiving Break Student Trip Days 3 and 4

November 24, 2022
The adventure continued with an exploration of the Tower of London and trips to museums including The Victoria and Albert, Science Museum, and Natural History Museum, and then a Christmas visit to Harrod’s. After a quick dinner, the group headed to the Vaudeville Theatre to enjoy Six the Musical. The following day took the group out to Stonehenge and Salisbury Cathedral with its rare copy of the Magna Carta. We finished the day traveling to Wales for our own Thanksgiving dinner together at a local carvery.
