Jennifer Moore has taught art at Darlington since 2004 and currently teaches students in grades Pre-K to 8. She holds a B.S. in Art Education from Berry College and is also a freelance artist whose work is often featured locally. Jennifer is married to Darlington alumnus Kelly Moore (’95), a photographer, and is the mother of current students Wil (’14) and Emily Taylor (’18).

ELA-8 art teacher Jennifer Moore will be among the speakers at the National Art Education Association's National Convention in Chicago next week. There she will co-present alongside National Gallery of Art colleagues in a session titled "Leading from Multiple Viewpoints: Integrating Studio, Art History, and Museum Best Practices."

Darlington artists participate in Community HeART Project, now on display

Several Darlington students and one faculty member are being featured as a part of the third annual Rome Community HeART Project for the month of February. A total of 15 "HeARTs" and five new HeART garlands will grace Downtown Rome in an effort to celebrate National Heart Month and the contributions of public art.

Darlington art teacher Jennifer Moore will be the spotlighted artist in this year's Hospitality House for Women greeting card fundraiser. The Rome-based nonprofit organization prints a limited number of Mother's Day cards that feature a different artist and accompanying quote each year.

Community "HeARTs" now on display in Rome

The centerpieces of the second-annual Rome Community HeART Project are now on display at Redmond Regional Medical Center and in various locations in Downtown Rome through Feb. 28. Among this year's 15 cement HeARTs are four painted by the hands of Darlington students, two by faculty and one by an alumna.

HeART Project to feature eight Darlington artists

Several Darlington art students, faculty and an alumna will be highlighted as a part of the second annual Rome Community HeART Project next month. The project is a collaboration between the Rome Area Council for the Arts (RACA) and Redmond Regional Medical Center, and will showcase a total of 15 cement hearts throughout the Downtown Rome area.
