Camp Darlington

Welcome to the new-and-improved Camp Darlington!

We listened to you and revamped our program completely. Beginning this year, Camp Darlington will focus on experiential learning and skill-building in a safe, active and FUN environment!

It’s not just about play time – this summer is all about learning by doing and making progress. By the time your camper finishes the two-week session, he or she will have a slew of exciting new skills to show you and even more stories about memorable experiences and friendships.

And the best part is – your camper’s daily schedule can be tailored to fit his or her individual interests! Each day begins at 8 a.m. with breakfast, followed by a jam-packed morning of activities that your child will select from the list of electives below. Lunch and snacks are also provided. The second half of the day includes the opportunity to participate in three more electives of your camper’s choice!

Additionally, the first Thursday of each session is set aside for a trip day. Campers are treated to an afternoon of bowling or skating, followed by evening games and swimming, and ending with a “lock-in” during which campers spend the night in Darlington’s Johnson Fieldhouse. This is a great opportunity for campers to bond with their friends – both old and new!

At the end of each two-week session, campers are recognized with achievement awards and certificates during a special ceremony.

Experience 400 acres of outdoor fun while swimming, shooting, throwing, kicking, paddling, dodging and running. Cruise the trails, compete on playing fields, paddle on Silver Lake, and take full advantage of the indoor pool and gym in Darlington’s 96,000-square-foot A. J. Huffman ’67 Memorial Athletic Center.

You won’t want to miss it!
