Local artist Siri Gundersen offers children a unique opportunity to develop their interests and skills in art. Each day, campers will explore a new artist and create a project using the same techniques and materials as that particular artist. Activities will be diverse and fun, with a focus on drawing, painting and mixed media. Each week, campers will produce at least one canvas suitable for hanging. At the end of summer, campers will have an art show at Studio Siri, where their works of art will be displayed for two weeks.
Siri Gundersen, an internationally recognized artist, is the owner of Studio Siri located in downtown Rome, Ga. A graduate of Shorter College, her work has been included in traveling exhibits in Norway, Brussels and other areas of Europe.
