Game Summary
VERY COLD START TO THE SEASON!
Excellent team with some very good players. As disappointing as the result and some of the play was, it was encouraging in a lot of ways as well. 2nd half was better. Got to see and evaluate lots of players in various roles. Gave us feedback about how much we have internalized on certain things and how much we need to continue to work on and refine in certain areas. In all, a productive, if sour, night.

Game Summary
Tough loss. Great goal by David on one of our corner kick set plays run perfectly by Andre and Roberto.
Winnable game, which made the evening bittersweet. Frustrating to come close, but nice see such improvement with only one practice between games! Still much work to do before our next game 2/15. Will be a tough opponent, but if we continue to improve on the details, we should do well. Great efforts tonight with a shortened roster!

Game Summary
Started off the game extremely well. Good team defending (mostly) and we were excellent going forward. Very dangerous. Good goals by Tevin, Sarp and Roberto.
Billy with a couple BIG saves at big times.
Great team win. Another step in the journey.
Let's also remind Rand to bring extra set of contacts to the next game. :)

Game Summary
Very unfortunate loss. Quality of play was high in many phases. Possession was excellent for the most part. Lacked the quality and timing in the final third. Very encouraging though for first time out on the new system. Hate losing but like where we are headed. Good work boys

Game Summary
Hard fought game missing our best defender. Caused some issues moving players around, but we played well enough to find the win.
Was glad to see us be more dangerous in the final third. Defense was good enough. Their only goal was a long ball that was flicked in. Good play for them, but if we tweak a couple things, that would not happen again.
In all, a good tough win. Makes us stronger and, hopefully, confident moving forward.

Game Summary
Difficult match without Omar in the back. Struggled at times dealing with the long ball.
Especially in the first half. Constant barrage and then we kept giving them space to run and run at us and get shots off. Yes, at a distance, but with the wind at their back and given enough chances, bad things were likely to happen. Was a small miracle that we were still tied at half.
Picked it up in the second half in all phases. Poor set piece organization on our part and a silly foul to begin with led to their goal. But I loved the fact that we didn't get our heads down. We just kept at it and kept working hard and we got our tying goal. Then we were by far the better team in OT and then in PK's we were quality. Good, hard win boys.

Game Summary
Very good opponent. Some excellent individual players. On the whole, we defended as a team much better than when we played East Hall when their 1 or 2 players ate our lunch. Last night there were some preventable goals that we can fix. Did much better with those situations in the second half. Their goal off the free kick was unstoppable. We were more dangerous going forward in the second half. Scored 3 goals against a good team. Excellent stuff.

Game Summary
Solid game all the way around. Solid defending, (after first 10 min) solid possession, solid in the final third.
Was extremely happy that we never let them back into the game after taking a lead. We have had the habit of doing well for a while and then backing off and allowing a team to come at us. Great work!

Game Summary
ROUND 2. HERE WE COME! Good win on a tough night. A lot of things didn't go our way. Many of those issues were self inflicted wounds. Poor team shape. Poor 1v1 defending. Mistakes in key moments. However, in the end, this team's grit and heart showed through and pulled it out.
Really satisfying to watch you guys step up and compete. Good stuff. Now time to get to work and get better for Wednesday.

Game Summary
Tough Game. We played some very good soccer as a team. Really did. Everything we've been working on you did. Brilliantly at times. Difference was simple: We didn't rise as individuals to the moments that the team created for us .
The referee's strange decisions didn't help us any, but he didn't lost the game for us. In the end it was bittersweet as a coach because I couldn't ask more of you. But I also know that it was a winnable game. Superb season boys. An honor and privilege working with you.
